We are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer on a permanent basis to join a expanding and sector leading business

What You ll Do
As a key member of our Electrical Design Team, you ll:

• Lead electrical design for complex automation projects from concept to delivery.
• Produce detailed circuit diagrams, Eplan drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.
• Visit project sites to ensure installations meet design and safety standards.
• Support internal and external stakeholders, including clients and suppliers.
• Be part of high–profile, innovative automation projects.

What We re Looking For

• Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering (Degree preferred, HND/HNC acceptable with experience).
• Extensive experience in electrical design for capital equipment or automation systems.
• Proficiency in Eplan, with strong calculation and documentation skills.
• Solid understanding of 18th Edition Wiring Regs, EN60204, and electrical safety standards.
• A proactive problem–solver with a focus on technical quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel to project, client, and supplier sites as needed.
