We are looking for experienced Senior Electrical Drafting/Design Engineers to support a complex marine vessel project. This role demands a high level of adaptability, as project information is limited and subject to frequent changes. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, hands-on experience with AutoCAD Electrical, and a solid background in marine systems — particularly in communications and low-voltage DC power integration.

Responsibilities

• Produce and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts using AutoCAD Electrical
• Design and document 24V DC power distribution and communication systems including serial, fibre, coax, and networking components
• Support the integration of electrical and electronic subsystems on a marine platform
• Collaborate with engineering teams and project stakeholders to manage design changes and resolve technical ambiguities
• Ensure all designs align with relevant marine standards and regulatory compliance
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback efficiently
  
  

Qualifications

• HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
• Completion of formal AutoCAD Electrical training preferred

Experience

• Experience with systems integration in marine or defense / naval projects
• Familiarity with classification society rules and maritime electrical standards
