Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Cambridge – 9 months+ – Healthcare projects

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in an Electrical Design Engineering role, preferably within a Tier 1 Main Contractor or MEP Sub–contractor in the UK. The successful candidate will be involved in delivering major healthcare projects valued over 100M, including design for mechanical, electrical, and public health packages, with a focus on achieving BREEAM Excellent ratings.

Responsibilities

1. Manage Building Services Consultancy to deliver MEP design.
2. Review and coordinate with MEP Sub–contractors.
3. Ensure project delivery aligns with client specifications and standards.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a relevant subject.
• Professional chartership (MCIBSE, MIET) is preferred.

Additional Information

The role is based on site four days a week, with flexibility for one work-from-home day. Candidates should be within commuting distance to Cambridge.
