Job summary

RSE is hiring a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a permanent position. You will lead design activities across scoping, detailed design, and implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards with a focus on low-carbon solutions.

You will develop electrical/ instrumentation concepts, perform site surveys, and guide EICA considerations within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of British and European design standards.
• Proven track record as an Electrical Engineer in design office and construction within water/related process industries.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and instrumentation/control concepts and detailed designs.
• Carry out electrical site surveys to identify solutions.
• Lead EICA engineering input and review design solutions.
• Provide technical guidance on EICA matters to project teams.

What Are We Looking For?

Our Chemical & Wastewater Solutions business platform are looking to hire an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer on a permanent basis. Working as part of an established multi-disciplinary design function, you will take on a fully supported leading role in all aspects of projects, from scoping and detailed design through to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards, with a strong focus on low-carbon solutions.

Some Of Your Key Duties Include

• Developing industry leading electrical and instrumentation/control concept and detailed designs.
• Carrying out Electrical site surveys to identify the most appropriate and innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Play a critical role in leading the EICA engineering input and review of design solutions.
• Providing technical guidance on EICA matters to the wider project teams.
• Carrying out the planning and implementation of projects in association with the Delivery Management teams.
• Leading and participating in safety studies etc.,
• Working with our in-house construction and commissioning teams to ensure we delivery a high-quality solution to our clients.

What Do You Need?

• Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of British and European design standards.
• A proven track record as an Electrical Engineer in both a design office and a construction environment within the water (or related process) industry.
• Full UK Driving Licence
