Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience in Electrical Control systems looking to work for a leading company who offer extensive training, development & career progression?
On offer is an autonomous and technically diverse role allowing you to work from conception through to completion on a range of specialist packaging equipment where you will be a key player in the development of the business allowing you to become a technical expert.
This company are part of a larger group and specialise in the design, development and sale of special purpose manufacturing equipment to clients across the globe. They are a multinational business and the market leaders in their chosen field, with a real drive for technical excellence, to keep up with this demand and ensure they provide a premium service they are looking to add a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to their passionate & successful team.
The role will require the successful individual to design electrical control systems for packaging machinery. This will involve using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN for circuit designs, completing control system safety analysis using Sistema and write / develop machine software using (Rockwell and Beckhoff).

The Role:
Designing Electrical control systems using AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN.
Writing and developing PLC code for machine control using Rockwell and Beckhoff.
Write and develop Servo Motion code for machine control using Rockwell and Beckhoff
Producing Bills of Materials using Agile product lifecycle management software Commissioning of machinery on both business & customers sties
The Person:
bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification.
10 years design experience, (AutoCAD electrical or EPLAN) & Programming experience using Rockwell, Beckhoff and Zenon software
Troubleshooting, problem–solving and decision–making skills with experience delivering projects to tight deadlines & within budget
Confident to take the technical lead in a team on occasional larger projects & mentor more junior members of the team
