The successful candidate will be involved in the design and development of robust, efficient, and compliant electrical systems for projects in sectors such as data centres, financial services, healthcare, and other highly serviced facilities.
Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically sound and cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure all designs comply with current regulations, industry standards (e.g., BS7671, CIBSE, IEC), and specific project requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and engineering drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Amtech.
- Support tendering activities and contribute to technical submissions and proposals.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and sustainable design practices.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant design experience in building services, ideally within critical environments.
- Strong understanding of UK electrical standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in relevant design and calculation software (AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux/Relux).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
- Chartered status or working towards chartership (e.g., IET, CIBSE) is desirable.
What’s on Offer
- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
- Opportunity to work on high-profile, technically complex projects.
- A dynamic and forward-thinking work environment.
- Clear progression and ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Flexible working arrangements where applicable.
