We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a fast-paced, exciting design and build contractor with a focus on sustainable design solutions.

Would you like to join one of the largest building services design departments in the region?

Our client employs over 60 engineers and boasts a team of over 15 chartered design engineers, committed to developing engineers to their full potential.

Their projects often involve detailed mechanical and electrical design solutions for large, complex projects, including energy centres, plant rooms, and associated building services, frequently for end users like Universities or Hospitals.

These projects require intricate designs involving electrical services, BMS control systems, and HV systems.

The role includes electrical detailed design, site surveys, report writing, technical analysis, calculations, feasibility studies, and conceptual reviews.

Site (hands-on) experience is beneficial but not essential.

Ideal candidates will have experience in:

• Building services
• HV systems
• Power systems
• CHP / Generators

Industry background in:

• District Network Operators (Electricity Northwest, SSE, or Northern Powergrid in the North West)
