Confidential Energy Infrastructure Developer is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major EHV grid connection package for a nationally significant UK energy infrastructure project.

The role involves managing the project lifecycle from design and procurement through construction, commissioning and energisation, coordinating with National Grid and key stakeholders on a client-side basis.

Formación

• Proven experience delivering HV/EHV transmission, substation or grid connection projects.
• Strong understanding of grid connection and energisation processes.
• Experience managing major infrastructure contractors and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent stakeholder, commercial and programme management skills.
• Experience within power generation, renewables, utilities or energy infrastructure environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead delivery of the EHV grid connection package.
• Manage design, procurement, construction, testing and energisation activities.
• Act as the primary interface with National Grid, Transmission Owners and key stakeholders.
• Manage EPC contractors, consultants and equipment suppliers.
• Oversee programme, budget, risk, quality and project governance.
• Coordinate electrical, civil and transmission interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with Grid Code, connection agreements and industry standards.
• Drive contractor performance and resolve project risks and challenges.
