Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior/Lead EHS Manager to define and drive the environmental, health, safety and security strategy for a major Nordic data centre project. The role requires leadership across multinational contractor groups, ensuring governance alignment with client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Based in-country with significant international travel to Norway or Finland (11/3 rotations), you will embed a proactive safety culture, oversee RAMS and procedures, and report

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience on mega-scale construction or major infra projects.
• Background in top-tier consultancies, contractors, or client-side delivery.
• Direct data centre or hyperscale tech project delivery experience preferred.
• Commitment to CPD and strategic EHS learning.
• Strong teamwork and passion for transforming built environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS strategy and governance for the project.
• Align multi-national contractor networks with client expectations.
• Oversee EHS incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Manage stakeholder relations, analytics, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Nordic EHS legislation.
• Monitor EHS performance indicators and drive improvements.
