Job summary

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a Senior Educational Psychologist to lead strategic development within the Educational Psychology Service and oversee statutory and traded work for children and young people aged 0 to 25 years.

The postholder will conduct consultations at individual, group and system levels, support inclusion and SEND reforms, and provide professional leadership with DBS enhanced checks required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Educational Psychologist registered with the BPS.
• Experience with statutory and non-statutory work in education.
• Ability to lead, supervise, and develop psychological practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead areas of strategic development within the Educational Psychology Service.
• Provide consultation and intervention at individual, group and system levels.
• Supervise colleagues and trainees; contribute to SEND reforms and service development.
