Job summary

London Borough of Waltham Forest seeks a Senior Educational Psychologist to lead supervision and contribute to Experts at Hand service delivery and LA initiatives. The role supports school-based EPs and cross-agency teams.

Permanent contract (full-time/part-time), with a £2000 retention bonus and strong emphasis on CPD and staff wellbeing. HCPC registration and 3+ years' EP experience required.

Qualifications

• You will have at least three years' experience as a qualified Educational Psychologist and registered with the HCPC.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality supervision to an EP team (EPs, TEPs, Asst EPs) working in schools and settings.
• Support the delivery of Experts at Hand across the local authority.
• Provide strategic support to Local Authority services (including Youth Justice Service, Virtual Schools, special schools).
• Support the delivery of programmes such as ELSA / MeLSA and commissioned project work.
• Support the development of a community psychology service team.
