Job summary

Telford & Wrekin Council's Educational Psychology Service is expanding and seeks a Specialist Senior Educational Psychologist to join a values-driven, relational team. You will lead strategic developments, oversee traded and statutory work, and contribute to innovative service models such as Experts At Hand in partnership with schools and settings.

Qualifications

• Be an experienced Educational Psychologist registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Demonstrate the ability to translate strategic vision into operational practice and to lead service developments.
• Promote inclusion through work with children, families, schools and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evaluate service developments and work with partners to deliver sustainable support models (e.g., Experts at Hand).
• Represent the service and promote applied psychology in your specialist area.
• Contribute to strategic leadership across the service and to implementation of innovative models.
• Collaborate with the EP team to develop reach, impact and sustainability of service initiatives.
