Baltimore Consulting Limited is recruiting for a Senior Education Officer / Deputy Head of Virtual School on a 6 month interim contract, with start ASAP and hybrid working (2-3 days on site). The role leads the Virtual School service, supporting children in care and multi-agency partners, with deputising responsibilities for the Head of Virtual School.

You will oversee a team of eight Education Officers and a Data Officer, driving improvements in attendance, inclusion and educational outcomes

Formación

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Previous experience within a Virtual School setting at Deputy Head level.
Strong leadership experience managing education professionals and service performance.
Proven ability to analyse educational data and drive service improvement initiatives.
Extensive experience working with vulnerable children and multi-agency partners.

Responsabilidades

Lead the day-to-day delivery and performance of the Virtual School service.
Manage, support and develop a team of 8 Education Officers and 1 Data Officer.
Drive improvements in attendance, engagement, inclusion and educational outcomes.
Use data, evidence and performance information to evaluate impact and identify gaps.
Build strong partnerships with schools, carers, social workers, families and key stakeholders.
