Job summary

Huntsman seeks a Senior Ecotoxicologist to provide expert advice on ecotoxicology, exposure science and regulatory compliance across global businesses. You will support product development, registrations and environmental risk assessments, with up to 20% travel and a hybrid work arrangement.

Ideal candidates hold an advanced degree and 10+ years' experience in regulatory ecotoxicology, using QSAR tools and IUCLID for submissions, and actively engaging with regulatory bodies and consortia.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master or PhD) with substantial regulatory ecotoxicology experience.
• 10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an international chemical/pharma context.
• In-depth knowledge of EU REACH, TSCA and Canada chemical registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide ecotoxicology and exposure science expertise across product development and regulatory submissions.
• Lead dossier preparation using IUCLID and read-across approaches for environmental data.
• Act as technical lead on ecotoxicology issues and regulatory advocacy with authorities.
• Ensure compliance with global environmental regulations and stay updated on trends and guidances.
• Represent Huntsman in industry consortia and engage with internal stakeholders.
