Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection in the UK seeks a Technical Expert - Ecotoxicologist to join the Global Science Delivery team. You will drive ecotoxicology studies, partner with CROs, and deliver critical endpoints for registration of crop protection products.

The role requires GLP experience, data-driven insights, and collaboration across diverse teams. Based at Jealott's Hill, UK, with potential flexibility to Sao Paulo, Brazil, you will contribute to global regulatory submissions and stay aligned

Qualifications

• Minimum BSc in Biology, Ecotoxicology, Environmental Toxicology, or a closely related field.
• Experience conducting ecotoxicology studies under GLP environment.
• Knowledge of global ecotoxicology data requirements for Plant Protection Products.
• Experience generating key insights from data sets.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team with good time management.
• Experience with Biological plant protection products including qPCR and microbiology methods is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring timely delivery of data from CROs to support registration of new actives and products.
• Designing, evaluating data and reviewing company reports.
• Elucidating insights from ecotoxicology data and reporting expert conclusions.
• Providing technical assistance and solutions to transfer knowledge.
• Applying regulatory guidance to study designs and interpretations.
