ise pglobal is seeking a Senior Ecologist to join its Ipswich team. The role involves leading ecological surveys, managing projects from inception to completion, and delivering high-quality reports for clients.

You will advise on ecological constraints and mitigation strategies while mentoring junior staff. The successful candidate will have a degree in Ecology or related discipline, consultancy experience, and strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Ecology or a related environmental discipline.
• Previous consultancy experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of UK wildlife legislation and survey techniques.
• Excellent report writing and project management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Living in or within a commutable distance of the Ipswich office.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of ecological surveys and manage projects from inception to completion.
