ise g global? isepglobal is seeking a Senior Ecologist to join its Worthing team. The role involves delivering ecological assessments, surveys, and reports across multiple sectors, with flexible hybrid working and strong development opportunities.

The successful candidate will have UK ecological consultancy experience, knowledge of wildlife legislation, and the ability to manage projects and mentor junior staff. Salary ranges £35,000–£45,000 depending on experience.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in ecological consultancy, ideally at Senior level.
• Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and survey methodologies.
• Experience with PEAs, EcIAs, protected species surveys and BNG.
• Strong reporting, communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Living in or within a commutable distance of Worthing.

Aufgaben

• Undertaking Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs) and Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIAs).
• Conducting and overseeing protected species surveys and habitat assessments.
• Contributing to Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessments and reports.
• Preparing and reviewing accurate technical reports and survey documentation.
• Liaising with clients, developers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Supporting the delivery and coordination of ecological projects across sectors.
• Providing technical guidance to junior ecologists.
• Contributing to project planning, client relationships, and delivery of ecological services.
