Job description

We are seeking Ecologists of all levels for an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing Environmental Consultancy.

We have vacancies, in Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby and London.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Ecological consultancy or Field Ecology as a background (UK experience is essential).
• Full membership of CIEEM (Chartered Ecologist preferable).
• Project management experience, ensuring projects are delivered within time and budget requirements.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant aspects of UK and EU environmental Legislation and national and local planning policies and processes.
• Experience in reviewing technical reports, providing support and clear constructive feedback.
• Experience in producing and reviewing high quality technical reports.
• Have a clear, up to date understanding of Biodiversity Net Gain, Biodiversity Impact Assessment, UKHABS survey methodology and the DEFRA metric calculators.
• Ideally at least one protected species license.
• Full UK driving license.
