University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an autonomous Advanced Specialist Cardiac Physiologist within Cardiac Imaging, based in the Echo department. The role provides expert clinical care and professional leadership, performing complex echocardiography and reporting findings for a broad range of cardiac conditions.

You will train and develop the echocardiography team, contribute to multidisciplinary education, and participate in research as integral to the role.

Formación

• Degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent/OTEC/ONC or equivalent in MPPM.
• British Society of Echo cardiographers (BSE) accreditation or equivalent.
• Meet requirements of RCCP voluntary register.
• Evidence of CPD and attendance at relevant meetings.

Responsabilidades

• Autonomous Advanced Specialist Cardiac Physiologist in Cardiac Imaging.
• Provide expert clinical care, leadership, and highly specialised diagnostic expertise in Echocardiography.
• Perform, analyse, interpret, and report complex echocardiographic examinations.
• Lead and train multidisciplinary healthcare professionals across the organisation.
• Participate in cardiac research as an integral part of the role.

Educación

Degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent/OTEC/ONC or equivalent in MPPM
