Job summary

Actemium Design, part of VINCI Energies, is seeking EC&I Designers/Engineers in the UK. The role covers concept through detailed engineering, contributing to diverse projects across nuclear and non-nuclear sectors.

You will collaborate with mechanical, process and project teams to deliver robust EC&I solutions. Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree in EC&I or equivalent, with strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/EPLAN/Amtech).

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in EC&I design/engineering.
• Solid understanding of CAD design, electrical systems, instrumentation and controls.
• Experience producing EC&I schematics, wiring diagrams, loop drawings and panel layouts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and improve EC&I designs for nuclear and non-nuclear projects.
• Carry out engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and preparation of technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Engage with clients and site teams to clarify requirements and drive excellence.
• Mentor junior engineers/designers and promote continuous improvement.
