Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Senior Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer for sites across the UK. You will lead design, integration and maintenance of EC&I systems in safety-critical environments, guiding project teams and coordinating with regulators, clients and suppliers.

Hybrid working is available with three days on site. A SC security clearance is required, and the role offers a comprehensive benefits package and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Design and deliver EC&I systems in regulated environments.
• Apply nuclear safety standards such as IEC 61508 and BS EN 61511.
• Work within cross-functional teams on complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, integration and maintenance of EC&I systems.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Produce and review technical documentation and safety case contributions.
• Monitor progress and drive on-time delivery.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
