Job summary

NUVIA, a VINCI Construction subsidiary, is seeking an experienced engineer to define and distribute the scope of work for nuclear projects across Warrington, Abingdon and Glasgow. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery and quality, while supervising a small engineering team and managing subcontracts.

The role requires a degree in engineering, driving licence, and progress toward Chartered Engineer status, with at least five years in the nuclear sector and strong leadership and organizational

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a relevant technical / engineering discipline.
• A full UK driver’s licence.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the nuclear industry.

Responsibilities

• Design, specification, procurement, installation and testing in nuclear projects.
• Check and approve project deliverables.
• Liaise with other disciplines and provide technical consultancy.
• Manage project scope, quality, progress and cost.
• Oversee contractors and staff development, safety culture and compliance.
