At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world. If you join us, you can play your part as a Senior Electrical Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer at either our Warrington or Cumbria site.

The role

As a Senior EC&I Engineer, you’ll manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities across our projects. This includes:

• Promoting effective cooperation across Engineering and other functional teams to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
• Interfacing with customers and supply chain on design issues, assisting with procurement specifications to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensuring procedures, codes, and standards are correctly identified and applied to all engineering and technical activities.
• Contributing to Product Safety Assessment and process improvement within the operational and design lifecycle.
• Providing a technical interface with internal and external stakeholders, supporting the Project Manager in planning, control, and delivery of tasks and projects.
• Producing, reviewing, and verifying technical outputs, including calculations, analyses, technical reports, and specifications.

The role operates on a 37-hour working week and includes hybrid and flexible working options.

Essential experience of the Senior EC&I Engineer

• Experience in working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of project types.
• Demonstrable experience in covering a variety of tasks.
• Communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.

Qualifications for the Senior EC&I Engineer

• Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline, with demonstrable experience.
