Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Senior Earthing Studies Engineer for hybrid work in Bristol or Warrington. The role focuses on desk-based earthing studies with occasional site visits and soil resistivity surveys. Requires 4+ years’ earthing experience, knowledge of EPR, touch/step voltages, fault paths and AutoCAD.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and may progress into broader power systems analysis. UK work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years’ experience in earthing design and analysis.
• Experience attending sites for soil resistivity analysis and earthing surveys.
• Confident with AutoCAD for site layouts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare earthing layout drawings and perform studies.
• Conduct soil resistivity surveys and fall-of-potential testing.
• Discuss results with clients and propose actions.
