Job description

We are looking for an Early Careers specialist to join our Early Careers Recruitment Team. This is an exciting and fast-paced role, and we are seeking someone proactive, eager to learn, and capable of prioritising tasks.

The role is part of a small team responsible for delivering the entire Early Careers recruitment campaign. It focuses on the full recruitment lifecycle, including attraction, selection, and onboarding for all early careers hires in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
Attraction
  • Collaborate with the business to develop accurate job descriptions that reflect roles and meet business needs.
  • Manage all recruitment activities on the Attraction Tracking System (ATS), including updates to screening questions, hiring processes, and administrative data.
  • Maintain relationships and manage adverts with external providers like gradcracker to promote roles.
  • Create email templates for use throughout the campaign.
  • Organise and run virtual attraction events such as webinars and online sessions.
  • Assist in organising and attending recruitment events for potential candidates.
Selection
  • Screen initial applications for graduate and apprentice vacancies.
  • Keep the ATS updated to ensure candidates are at the correct stage and receive appropriate communications.
  • Make offers to candidates and discuss opportunities and benefits with them.
  • Coordinate assessment days across various UK locations, including logistics and managing assessors and candidates.
  • Develop materials for assessment days, including candidate and assessor communications and interview questions.
Onboarding
  • Work with the development team to design and implement onboarding campaigns and maintain engagement activities.
  • Support enrolment of graduates and apprentices into relevant courses.
  • Assist with the organisation of the Early Careers induction event.
  • Coordinate with line managers to set up new starters on internal systems.
  • Handle candidate queries related to start dates and employment with Turner & Townsend.
  • Develop and execute communication plans for new starters to boost engagement.
  • Organise regional onboarding events with internal groups.
  • Ensure compliance with government guidelines regarding right to work documentation.
  • Act as the point of contact for visa-related queries, collaborating with HR to resolve issues.
  • Support the creation of accounts for new starters on the HR system (iTrent).
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in early careers recruitment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
