Job summary

Avalara seeks a Principal Functional Consultant to bridge business processes and technical implementation in e-invoicing. You will translate complex requirements into actionable designs, ensuring successful implementations across Avalara's systems.

Your role involves working with various teams, leading implementations, and advising customers on e-invoicing practices. With a strong focus on collaboration and regulatory understanding, you'll help shape the future of our e-invoicing solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in ERP consulting, solution architecture, business analysis, product ownership, or enterprise software implementation.
• Experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
• Experience translating requirements into technical designs and implementation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Translate regulatory mandates into standardized business and technical design artifacts.
• Analyze customer O2C and P2P processes and identify impacts from e-invoicing mandates.
• Guide implementation teams through mandate-specific requirements.
