Job summary

Henry Boot, a leading UK land and property development group, seeks a hands‑on technical expert to own our Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform estate in Sheffield. You will design, develop and support model‑driven and canvas apps, and build Power Automate workflows, while integrating with Dataverse and SharePoint.

You will mentor the IT team, drive a practical digital transformation journey, and influence technical direction to deliver real business value.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform environments.
• Proven ability to design and customise model-driven and canvas apps.
• Strong skills in Dataverse, Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Administration, support and problem‑solving across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Own the Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform estate end-to-end.
• Design, develop and support apps (model-driven and canvas).
• Build and optimise Power Automate workflows.
• Work with Dataverse, SharePoint and integrations.
• Develop custom functionality using C#, JavaScript and related tech.
• Troubleshoot and improve platform performance.
• Support releases, testing and UAT; mentor IT teams.

We're looking for a hands‑on technical expert to become the primary owner of our Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environment.

Working closely with business stakeholders and our Digital Transformation team, you'll take an existing solution through its next phase of development, stabilising, enhancing and evolving the platform while delivering real business value.

You'll have the freedom to influence the technical direction, improve processes, solve complex challenges and help shape our wider digital transformation journey.

What You'll Be Doing

• Taking ownership of our Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform estate
• Designing, developing and supporting model‑driven and canvas applications
• Building and enhancing Power Automate workflows
• Working with Dataverse, SharePoint and integrations
• Developing custom functionality using C#, JavaScript and related technologies
• Troubleshooting, optimising and improving platform performance
• Supporting development, testing, UAT and production releases
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to deliver practical solutions
• Mentoring and developing Power Platform capability within the wider IT team
