Job summary

Social Care 2 Recruit is recruiting a Registered Care Manager to lead a domiciliary care service in Wickford, Essex. You will oversee daily operations, drive regulatory compliance and lead a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care at clients’ homes.

You will oversee care plans, manage staffing and audits, and build strong relationships with clients, families and professionals while promoting continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within domiciliary care.
• Strong understanding of Care Inspectorate requirements and standards.
• Effective and confident team leadership.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise a busy service and manage multiple tasks.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and care standards.
• Passionate about enabling people to remain independent at home.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the domiciliary care service.
• Ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate standards and regulations.
• Lead, support and develop the care team.
• Manage recruitment, induction, supervision and performance.
• Ensure care plans and risk assessments are accurate and reviewed.
• Monitor quality and safety of care delivered.
• Maintain relationships with clients, families and healthcare professionals.
• Manage staffing, rotas and service delivery.
• Address safeguarding concerns, incidents and complaints.
• Complete audits and drive continuous improvements.
• Promote a positive, person-centred care culture.
