Zachary Daniels is seeking a Distribution Centre Manager to lead operations in a high-volume distribution environment. You will oversee all warehouse and logistics activities, ensuring efficient inventory flow, operational excellence, and strong service across retail and e-commerce channels.

The role requires a hands-on operational leader with people management experience, able to handle seasonal demand fluctuations and focus on continuous improvement, safety, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in warehouse or distribution centre management.
• Experience in fast-paced 3PL or retail environments.
• Proven track record leading medium to large operational teams.
• Strong understanding of WMS, inventory control and e-commerce.
• Solid knowledge of health, safety standards and compliance.
• Experience managing budgets and driving cost efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day distribution centre operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, dispatch and returns.
• Ensure efficiency during peak trading periods and high-volume orders.
• Maintain accurate stock control across a large product range.
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse teams and supervisors.
• Drive safety, accountability and continuous improvement culture.
• Implement best practices in warehouse layout, stock flow and space utilisation.
• Ensure timely fulfilment of retail replenishment and direct-to-consumer orders.
