Job summary

Netcompany in the UK is seeking a Software Architect to provide architecture expertise, design future services, and test proofs of concept. You will partner with business and technology stakeholders, translate requirements, and guide internal teams, third parties and external suppliers to deliver robust architectures.

You will shape solution architectures, participate in design reviews, and define observability, roadmaps, and architecture governance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing or implementing distributed system architectures.
• Experience as a technical architect or technical lead.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Experience working within an agile methodology.
• Architecture qualifications such as TOGAF.
• Experience with Java and C#.
• Experience with relational and document databases.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to run discovery, clarify requirements, and translate them into functional and non-functional specs.
• Enable delivery and governance, collaborate on roadmaps, define observability, and participate in design reviews.
• Shape and document solution architectures and target-state designs aligned to industry best practice.
