Job summary

Lumanity, with PHARMO Institute, is seeking a Senior Director, Real-World Evidence, to drive strategic growth at the intersection of science and business. You will lead high-impact client engagements, shape the practice’s direction, and build credibility with senior pharmaceutical stakeholders.

You will bring a portable book of business, deep RWE/HEOR expertise, and strong commercial acumen to expand our European and US footprint, mentoring teams and delivering innovative, data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

PhD in life sciences or related field (or MSc with exceptional commercial track record)
15+ years in life sciences and/or RWE consulting at Senior Director level or equivalent
Portable book of business with pharma/life sciences client relationships
Deep knowledge of the RWE/RWD landscape and drug development across Europe and the USA
Strong commercial acumen, consultative selling mindset, and senior stakeholder communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite)

Responsibilities

Drive and close new business to defined annual sales and pipeline targets
Develop pipeline through client outreach, conference presence, and cross-organization collaboration
Lead proposal development, sales collateral, and integrated RWE service offerings
Manage opportunities in CRM and coordinate contracting with legal, procurement, and IT teams
Lead complex RWE projects, ensuring high-quality outputs on time and budget
Mentor RWE team members and contribute to thought leadership and capability building
