Tameside College is seeking an Executive Director of People and Organisational Development to lead workforce planning, staff development and culture on the Senior Leadership Team. The role partners with the Deputy Principal and the Chief Finance and Infrastructure Officer to shape people strategy, policies and change programmes.

It requires senior HR leadership experience, enhanced DBS and CIPD membership; experience in further education is desirable.

Formación

• Senior leadership experience in HR or people leadership.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and statutory/regulatory standards.
• Experience in further education or public service is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Formulate people-focused strategies with senior leadership to plan staffing.
• Provide leadership on staff performance, development and support to help students reach potential.
• Shape a values-driven culture of inclusion, belonging, teamwork and wellbeing.
• Lead staff engagement to drive continuous improvement and employer of choice.
• Design and deliver change and development programmes building capability and leadership.
• Oversee people policies, safeguarding and statutory compliance.
• Lead on audit and inspection activity relating to people matters.
• Contribute to the Senior Leadership Team and College leadership.
• Provide direction and coordination of services within the remit.
