Job summary

BNY is seeking a senior infrastructure leader to shape the department-wide strategy and governance for scalable technology solutions. The role drives enterprise standards, risk posture improvements, and executive planning across cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will translate executive strategy into roadmaps, oversee complex deployments, and sponsor incident management with a focus on reliability and compliance within a global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 15-20+ years of enterprise-scale experience in software development or technology infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience; advanced degree beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Translate executive strategy into operational roadmaps, reference architectures, standards, and lifecycle governance.
• Set execution standards and oversee readiness for complex deployments across multi-tier, multi-platform environments.
• Sponsor and steer incident response and problem management; orchestrate cross-functional coordination and drive reliability improvements.
• Lead the firm-wide strategy for infrastructure automation, IaC, self-service frameworks, and modern cryptographic controls.
