Job Description

You will be accountable for leading a team to manage merchant relationships across a range of sectors identifying merchant needs to deliver growth of new business to deliver revenue and scorecard targets for your merchant sectors.

  • Understanding the market and client sector needs and develop a client centric sales strategy to deliver new sales and grow revenue
  • Lead relationships with cross functional teams to develop cross functional client & product plans to ensure delivery of team plans, revenue growth and market strategy
  • Lead thought leadership and client engagement strategy, bringing client & market insight to support development of new initiatives
  • Develop and deliver the XB Merchant strategy
  • Accountable for developing client relationships with senior executives (up to C Suite) to identify and deliver new solutions to deliver business growth
  • Lead contract negotiations
  • Foster and engender a high performing, client-centric team.
  • Contribute to the overall UK and Ireland Market Strategy as a key member of the MS&A team
  • Manage Risk &Regulatory requirements

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD



Preferred Qualifications

  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
  • Experience of leading and developing a high performing team
  • Extensive sales and relationship management experience
  • Experience of the payments business a passion for Fintech and in particular payments
  • Strong experience in working alongside merchant sectors
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with and influence key stakeholders up to C- Suite Executive level to drive new business growth
  • Ability to develop and deliver a client sector strategy to deepen the relationship with clients and to drive growth and revenue and thought leadership
  • Proven influencing, selling and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with high level of achievement
