Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a Senior Director to lead Enterprise Reporting and Analytics Engineering. You will guide a team of analytics engineers, report developers, and data leaders to transform engineered data into actionable business insight.

The role emphasizes governance, scalable analytics, and AI-enabled insights, partnering with Data Science, Product, and Data Engineering to advance proactive analytics across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a quantitative field.
• 15+ years in data, analytics, or BI; 8+ years leading teams and 4+ years of management experience.
• Strong SQL, dimensional modeling, and ELT/ETL design in cloud data warehouses.
• Experience delivering with Data Science, Product Management, and Data Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead an organization of ~30 people, including frontline managers; manage hiring, career paths, and performance.
• Define a multi-year vision for enterprise reporting and analytics; translate into quarterly outcomes.
• Own budgets, vendor relationships, and capacity; foster engineering culture in analytics.
• Drive last-mile architecture with curated data products, semantic layers, and reusable datasets.
• Partner with Data Science to productize models and enable generative AI access to data.
• Establish data governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality practices across the estate.
