Job summary

Citi London seeks a SVP, Digital Assets Platform Engineering Lead to drive the CIDAP platform's technical strategy and delivery at global scale. You will lead a distributed team of engineers, shape architecture, and collaborate with senior stakeholders across Technology, Risk, and Compliance.

You will champion engineering excellence, enterprise-grade security, and scalable DevOps practices while aligning with Citi's risk appetite and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• Extensive backend Java/Spring, microservices, and distributed systems experience.
• Experience leading senior engineers and delivering through teams in regulated industries.
• Blockchain/Digital Assets development and integration experience.
• Strong DevOps knowledge: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end technical strategy and architecture for the CIDAP platform.
• Provide authoritative guidance on backend Java/Spring and Web3 infrastructure.
• Lead and develop a globally distributed engineering team.
• Deliver on multi-workstream initiatives on time and within budget.
• Drive engineering quality, CI/CD discipline, and risk mitigation.
