Your Role

As their Digital Product Manager, you will oversee the development of their new app, a pivotal platform for growth and innovation. You will be accountable for planning and delivering this platform, as well as future features, and setting out the long-term vision together with the Marketing Director to ensure the product meets both consumer needs and regulatory requirements.

Position: Senior Digital Product Manager

Location: Bedford, Hybrid

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Key responsibilities:

1. Execute the app platform strategy, ensuring the product addresses consumer and business needs.
2. Own the Product Execution Roadmap and Critical Path Schedule, ensuring timely delivery aligned with the MD’s strategy.
3. Inspire and manage the digital product team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
4. Mentor team members, supporting their professional development.
5. Collaborate with marketing to incorporate consumer insights into app features.
6. Oversee day-to-day app development projects, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence.
7. Report on deliverables, risks, and challenges during reviews.
8. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and compliance.
9. Develop business cases and prioritize features based on needs and regulations.
10. Monitor product performance and user feedback for continuous improvement.
11. Translate technical needs for marketing and other stakeholders.
12. Partner with R&D and Software Directors to improve delivery processes.

About You

You have extensive experience as a Product Owner and Digital Product Manager, with a proven track record in digital product/app development across various sectors, including direct-to-consumer solutions. You are highly organized, collaborative, creative, and capable of influencing across departments to develop impactful digital products.

You will also have:

• Experience in healthcare or regulated industries like finance (preferred).
• Experience working in a medical device company with Quality Management Systems.
• Proficiency in Agile practices.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
• Experience with issue and project tracking tools like JIRA.
• Technical background in programming, hosting environments (Azure or AWS), data modeling, UX/UI design.
• Excellent organizational skills and digital project management experience.
• Proven leadership in managing teams and successful product launches in compliance-heavy industries.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with hypothesis testing on digital platforms (A/B testing, user testing, etc.).
• Degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related fields.
