LGT IT is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Senior Digital Lead Technician/Projects. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining IT Infrastructure Systems and working closely with the IT Project Management Team as the Technical Lead for IT Projects support throughout the Trust.

They will also be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of all LGT’s Client/Server environment, desktop configurations, and servers. Additionally, they will assist the Infrastructure & Development Manager in the installation and implementation of all changes to the said environment.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Providing advice and support on technical issues associated with proposed projects, from feasibility to post-implementation review.
2. Ensuring all hand-over procedures between Systems Delivery Group and Technical Computer Services are completed and signed off.
3. Supporting LGT's Active Directory, Azure Platform, Intune, MECM, and other laptop configuration tools, maintaining cybersecurity of IT systems.
4. Ensuring Change Control procedures are followed and CCNs are raised appropriately.
5. Staying updated with technological developments, especially within NHS IM&T, and maintaining relationships with key suppliers.
6. Providing technical input for network infrastructure and IT project specifications, design, and implementation.
7. Evaluating new technologies and making strategic investment recommendations.
8. Managing daily infrastructure support calls from the IT service desk.
9. Line managing reporting staff in accordance with LGT policies.
