Ouster is seeking a Digital IC Design Engineer to design and develop next-generation, commercial-grade LiDAR systems. The candidate should have experience in digital circuit specification, design, and verification for ASIC / Mixed-Signal SoCs. This is a start-up environment offering varied responsibilities and opportunities to broaden skills. Join our innovative team in Edinburgh, Scotland.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define digital architecture and blocks
• Write specifications
• Collaborate with analog IC designers and subcontractors
• Design synthesis, timing closure, and STA experience is desirable
• Debug RTL/gate-level simulations and failures
• Work with firmware, hardware, software, and analog IC design engineers
• Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations
• Prototype with FPGA (desirable)
• Experience with P&R is a bonus
• MATLAB modeling of algorithms is a bonus

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of relevant digital design experience
• Experience with automotive electronics is a bonus
