Description:

Are you passionate about digital engineering in construction? Laing O'Rourke is seeking a Senior Digital Engineer to lead digital transformation initiatives. We prioritize building virtually in a digital environment to enhance predictability in cost, quality, schedule, and safety. If you can develop innovative, engineering-led digital solutions for long-term value and demonstrate how digital tools benefit clients, this role is for you.

The Senior Digital Engineer manages specific tasks across all project phases, from pre-project to delivery, supporting our Digital Engineering services. The role requires developing strong internal and external relationships and presenting digital solutions effectively to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement Digital Engineering strategies across project phases, including bid, pre-construction, construction, commissioning, handover, and maintenance.
2. Upskill and develop staff in Digital Engineering practices through training, workshops, and communication.
3. Contribute to project-specific digital solutions aligned with our Digital Engineering offerings.
4. Lead the development and management of 3D models, ensuring they are comprehensive, current, and aligned with project documentation.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of industry standards such as BS1192, ISO19650, or similar.
• Model and data management expertise.
• Development of Digital Strategies.
• Model federation, review, and analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Revit; experience with Navisworks is desirable.
