About the company

Our client is on the hunt for a talented Senior Digital Designer to join the highly creative team in their Leeds office. This agency specializes in all things Web Development and Software. They work with a string of exciting household named brands across the charity, education, tourism, and much more. This agency operates a hybrid working policy which requires 2 days a week in their Leeds office based in the City Centre.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities include:

1. Creating and maintaining component-based design systems in Figma for consistency and scalability.
2. Collaborating with clients to build or evolve brands for digital experiences, ensuring brand guidelines are effectively applied.
3. Using motion design to enhance user experiences by creating dynamic interactions and concept pieces aligned with UX principles.
4. Focusing on user-centered design to improve user flow, accessibility, and responsiveness.
5. Presenting designs to clients, gathering feedback, and ensuring solutions align with their needs.
6. Managing feedback efficiently while balancing design integrity with technical requirements.
7. Taking ownership of projects, leading the design process from concept to delivery while maintaining high quality.
8. Collaborating with internal teams to refine designs, ensure technical feasibility, and support a smooth handoff.
9. Staying up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas and share knowledge.

About you

To be considered for this Senior Designer role, you’ll have a visual design background. Your portfolio must contain strong visual design, with particular experience in developing design systems for websites, focusing on brand application and creation. You’ll have agency experience and a portfolio that demonstrates creativity and flair, particularly with web projects. Additionally, you’ll need experience leading large-scale web projects and working directly with clients at a senior level.
