Job summary

Sandown Guildford is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technician with dealership background to join our workshop team in the UK. You will systematically diagnose faults, monitor repair progress, perform final checks and, when needed, hand the vehicle back to the customer.

You will support colleagues in fault diagnosis, document results and share technical updates with the team to maintain quality and efficiency. A main dealer background is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Certification in Automotive Vehicle Servicing & Repair.
• Experience working for an automotive retailer, preferably within a main dealer.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good level of communication.

Responsibilities

• Systematically carrying out complex fault diagnosis, monitoring the repair process, carrying out final checks and, if required, handing over the vehicle to the customer.
• Supporting colleagues in the workshop in fault diagnosis.
• Documenting the results of the diagnoses.
• Informing colleagues in the workshop of technical innovations and communicating important information regarding fault diagnosis.
