Job summary
AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join our busy dealership workshop. You will perform advanced diagnostics, electrical fault finding, servicing and repairs to the highest manufacturer standards, using the latest diagnostic equipment and wiring diagrams.
The role offers ongoing manufacturer training, a company car scheme, and clear career progression. You should have NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and at least 2 years in a similar role.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is essential.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic in automotive industry.
- At least 2 years' experience carrying out advanced diagnostics and fault finding.
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults.
- Interpret wiring diagrams and use manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work.
- Complete advanced fault-finding and rectification efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards.
- Document diagnostic findings and completed repairs.
- Provide technical support and guidance where required.
- Deliver exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction.
