Job summary

SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™ in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior DevSecOps / AWS Lead to own technical direction across cloud platforms for a major public sector programme. You’ll lead a small team, mentor engineers, and shape secure, scalable AWS environments and DevSecOps practices end-to-end.

The role combines hands-on engineering with strategic leadership, requiring strong AWS expertise, security focus, and experience in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Strong AWS engineering and architecture experience.
• DevSecOps and secure-by-design principles.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
• CI/CD pipelines and automation experience.
• AWS security, IAM and networking knowledge.
• Security tooling and vulnerability management experience.
• Leading and mentoring engineers.
• Experience within government, financial services or regulated environments.
• Government security standards / NCSC principles and clearance awareness.

Responsibilities
