Job summary

Informa TechTarget is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer in London to own and evolve our Windows-based AWS infrastructure, with a focus on CI/CD, automation, and security.

You will work with product engineering teams to ensure secure, reliable deployments and lead automation efforts across monitoring, IaC, and incident response. Flexible, in-office presence three days a week or more, plus remote options.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Proven experience managing Windows Server infrastructure (preferably in AWS).
• Experience with patching, vulnerability remediation, and security event handling.
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred).
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting production systems.
• Ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams and support production workloads.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Windows-based infrastructure in AWS (EC2) for high availability and performance.
• Manage patching, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening across Windows workloads.
• Monitor security events and work with security teams to remediate risks.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable deployments.
• Implement IaC using Terraform or similar tools.
• Develop automation with PowerShell to reduce manual overhead.
• Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
• Partner with product engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and support releases.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive incident post-mortems for long-term improvements.
