Job summary

Informa TechTarget is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our Windows-based infrastructure in AWS. You will improve CI/CD, security, and automation while enabling development teams and operating across environments.

You will partner with engineering to ensure reliable deployments, monitor health, and drive IaC practices using Terraform or similar tools. The role supports in-person collaboration with flexible remote work options.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Systems Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Proven experience managing Windows Server infrastructure (preferably in AWS).
• Experience with patching, vulnerability remediation, and security event handling.
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Terraform strongly preferred for IaC.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Monitoring, alerting and troubleshooting production systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate Windows Server environments in AWS (EC2), ensuring high availability and performance.
• Own patching, vulnerability management, and system hardening across Windows workloads.
• Monitor security events and remediate risks in collaboration with security teams.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments.
• Implement and improve IaC using Terraform or similar tools.
• Develop automation to reduce manual operational overhead.
• Design monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure system health.
• Collaborate with product engineering to troubleshoot issues.
• Support releases and ensure smooth deployment across environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to post-mortems.
