Job summary

Arbor Education is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Engineering team and enhance the resilience and performance of the Arbor platform. You’ll focus on architecture, infrastructure and ways of working, collaborating closely with solution architects and engineers to enable rapid scaling.

The role requires a metrics-driven approach, curiosity about system behaviour, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. You’ll help implement HA, CI/CD improvements, and robust incident response.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with DevOps on large-scale platforms.
• Proficient with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

Responsibilities

• Identify improvements within platform infrastructure and implement plans.
• Improve maturity of components, ensure High Availability, testing and DR plans.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment patterns.
• Assist in incident response and post-mortems.
• Participate in tech talks and team-based learning to spread knowledge.
• Document obsessively using Playbooks/Runbooks and system documentation.
