Job summary

Global Relay is seeking a Senior DevOps engineer to design, implement and support automated, scalable CI/CD solutions across multi-environment deployments. You will collaborate with software engineers, sit in cross-functional teams, and mentor junior DevOps engineers to raise the overall quality of delivery.

You will work in a hybrid model, applying best practices in security, distributed systems, and infrastructure automation to ensure reliable, secure software delivery for our customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years applying DevOps practices in production
• Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) in microservice environments
• Experience mentoring other DevOps engineers and collaborating across teams
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and security in SDLC
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, configuration management and Git branching models
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support automated, scalable CI/CD solutions
• Monitor production and test environments with dashboards and alerting
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers to maximise impact
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to automate requirements early in development
• Troubleshoot, resolve and prevent production issues with resilient solutions
• Develop deployment automation using Helm, Ansible, and related tools
