Job summary

Hexegic Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a cybersecurity mindset to design, build and deploy secure cloud infrastructure and applications. You will work in a small, collaborative team with a high degree of autonomy, implementing IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring, while ensuring compliance and security requirements.

Note: the role is on-site 4 days a week and candidates are required to hold UK security clearance to be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud computing.
• Proficiency in networking, IaC and configuration management tools.
• Experience with containerisation and deployment of applications.
• Observability, logging and monitoring stack.
• Experience deploying and applying open-source tools and applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure, reliable cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Use infrastructure as code to provision, configure, and manage cloud services and devices.
• Design and deploy secure infrastructure and applications.
• Monitor platform health, availability, and performance.
• Implement and support CI/CD workflows.
• Build, configure and deploy networking equipment and devices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to improve deployment, integration, and operational support for applications and services.
• Investigate and apply new tooling and automation approaches.
