Job summary

State Street in London seeks a Lead DevOps Engineer (AVP) to own end-to-end DevOps for a digital platform, driving automation, security, and reliability across AWS infrastructure and AEM deployments.

Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and business teams to build scalable, observable systems; lead incident response, disaster recovery planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating large-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Strong DevOps leadership with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to automate CI/CD pipelines and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Own the health, availability, performance and security of AWS-based platform.
• Design and maintain IaC for cloud resources and environments.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for AEM apps and services.
• Manage AEM environments (Author/Publish/Dispatcher) and caching layers.
• Implement automated deployment, rollback and release processes.
• Monitor performance, security and user experience with observability tools.
• Manage AWS services including networking, compute, storage and CDN.
• Apply cloud security best practices and vulnerability remediation.
• Lead incident management and post-incident remediation activities.
• Ensure business continuity with backup and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment reliability.
• Maintain runbooks, documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in on-call support and production issue resolution.
